Where is Your Office Located and How Do I Get There?
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice in Central Austin. My office is located in Timberline Office Condominiums, on the northbound side of MoPac/Highway 1 at Bee Caves Road/2244, one exit south of Lady Bird Lake). Timberline Office Condominiums is just south of the IHOP and Texas Land and Cattle Restaurants.
My office is nestled into the western edge of Zilker Park, and features floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Barton Skyway Greenbelt with midcentury-Japanese furnishings, and is a very grounding and restorative space to work together. The office is easy to find and there is plenty of parking.

When are you Available?
I’m currently available to see clients on weekdays (except Thursdays) from 8/9am to 7/8pm weekdays. Although I often hold workshops and therapist/caregiver trainings on Saturdays, I occasionally have a few weekend appointments available.
How Do We Get Started?
Text, call, or email me for a free consultation 30-minute consultation via phone or in the office to discuss current stressors and see how I can be helpful. I’ll be straight and open with you here. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions about my background, how I approach work, and more practical matters and policies. If we if feels right, we schedule an appointment, go to my online Client Portal to set up an account and complete a few forms.
Are My Therapy Sessions Confidential?
People often come to therapy wanting to share highly sensitive and private subject matter not discussed elsewhere. Confidentiality creates a sense of safety and forms the solid foundation of trust and connection between client and therapist. I will provide you with a copy of an “Informed Consent” explaining that what you discuss in session will not be shared with anyone. It’s important to know that there are two exceptions, explained below.
In some cases, a client may want their therapist to share information or an update to another care provider (for example, a physician). Therapists may not release this information unless you sign a “Release of Information.”
Additionally, by state law and professional licensure ethical requirements, therapists are required to break their confidentiality in the following cases: “Therapists are required to report suspected past or present abuse or neglect of children, adults, and elders to the authorities, including Child Protection and law enforcement, based on information provided by the client or collateral sources. Similarly, if the therapist has reason to suspect the client intends to cause serious bodily harm to themselves or another person, therapists must notify the police and inform the intended victim.”
